Certified Flagger Course
The Chesterfield Highway Department will be sponsoring a Flagger Certification course in January and hiring additional flaggers to work for the Town. If you are interested in more information, please contact Highway Superintendent Matt Smith at (413) 296-4727.

HELP WANTED - Full-Time Highway Department Driver/Laborer
The Chesterfield Highway Department is seeking applications for the full-time position of Truck Driver/Laborer. Interested applicants must have a valid MA Driver’s license (CDL Class B required with air brakes endorsement), and have or be willing to obtain a 2A Hoister’s License. Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug test.

Micro-Enterprise Program and Hilltown Food Bucks Program
Micro-enterprise business grant funding and assistance with food purchases now available!
The Hilltown CDC, on behalf of the Town of Chesterfield, currently has two new programs of interest for residents: the Micro-Enterprise Relief Program which offers grants to business owners with 5 or less employees that have been negatively affected by COVID-19 and the Hilltown Food Bucks Program which offers coupons or “bucks” for low to moderate income families to use while shopping at select locations. Town Clerk’s Report on Polling Location Change
The locations for the September 1, 2020 Primary and the November 3, 2020 State election have been moved to the Community Center at 400 Main Road in Chesterfield.
The Select Board decided this site shall be used for the September 1, 2020 Primary and the November 3, 2020 State election. It meets the requirements for site access, voting equipment, parking, entrance, ramps, and building interior. It is a public Community Center in the Town of Chesterfield, is ADA compliant, and will not have a disparate adverse impact on access to the polls on the basis of race, national origin, disability, income, or age. The Community Center provides adequate space for voters to be able to maintain social distance from each other and Election Officials upon entering, exiting, waiting in line, and while voting. Further, the Community Center has adequate space for Election Officials to perform their duties while maintaining social distance from each other to the greatest extent possible.
