Special Town Meeting Tuesday, February 4, 2020
There will be a Special Town Meeting on Tuesday, February 4th with a snow date of February 5th at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center. The main focus of the meeting is to vote on funding for Broadband drops (connections to houses). Please see the warrant, which is attached below. There will be a short presentation by MLP Manager Justin West at the beginning of the meeting to explain the funding request.

Public Meeting to Share Draft Findings for ADA Transition Plan
The Institute for Human Centered Design has completed a review of the accessibility of town buildings and programs in the towns of Chesterfield, Cummington, and Goshen. They will be sharing their findings with the public on Tuesday, May 28th at 1 p.m. at the Goshen Town Hall. Learn more about the ADA Transition Plans for each town including recommendations for removing all barriers to access.

Memorial Day Parade and Veterans' Park Dedication
Monday, May 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
The Chesterfield Memorial Day Ceremony begins at the Center Cemetery on North Road. Following the Ceremony, there will be a Parade to the old Town Hall at 403 Main Road where the dedication of the new Veterans' Park will take place. After much planning, fundraising, and hard work, the very dedicated Veterans' Park Committee is ready to present the Park to the public.
Please join us along with Representative Natalie Blais of the 1st Franklin District, State Senator Adam G. Hinds, and local Veterans for the dedication.

Chesterfield's Annual Town Meeting will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall.
This is your opportunity to make your voice heard and vote on what the Town’s spending priorities will be for the coming year. Come, ask questions, and participate in your Town Government! We look forward to seeing you there!

2019 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events
2019 Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Events:
HRMC announces regional HHW Events including the annual HRMC HHW Collection on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Once a year, the HRMC holds a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event for residents of the HRMC member communities. The 2019 event will take place on October 26 in Westhampton. Pre-registration is required.

Ireland Street Bridge Closure
The Ireland Street Bridge over Bronson Brook will be closed on Monday, April 29, 2019 for reconstruction. Detours will be established. The project completion date is scheduled for October 24, 2019.

Dog Licenses:
Dog licenses are now available for 2019. All dogs six months old or older must be licensed by May 1, 2019 to avoid late fees.
Annual Street Listing:
The 2019 annual Street Listing form has been mailed out and must be returned to the Clerk’s office to update current information for such things as school population, senior citizen programs, and voters list. The information will supply accurate counts for grant programs as well as many other government services that a town can apply for.
